PROCESS
INITIAL WALKTHROUGH AND ESTIMATE
When you decide to reach out and let us know that you are ready for service, the next step would be to come to site and put eyes on everything you are looking for. We do not give estimates over the phone or based on pictures. Once we talk through the scope of work, everything is put down in writing, line by line, on one of our estimates that will be provided in a week or less.
CONTRACT, PLANNING AND BUDGETING PHASE
After deciding that you want to proceed with Yanessa Contracting, a final review of the scope of work might be necessary, as well as another trip to site. We strive to get all descriptions of work, pricing, and schedule as close as possible and in writing, so that everyone involved is (literally) on the same page.
SELECTIONS AND MATERIAL ACQUISITION PHASE
Once signing and deposit is paid, appointments are setup for you with the designer if you have decided to take advance of that service, material selections are made in order to determine lead times, and we draw up any plans necessary to pull the appropriate permits.
START PROJECT AND PROJECT DURATION PHASE
Initial setup with access to the property and disposal services are established on site. Protection is put in place to contain the other areas of the house that we are not working on. (if any) Follow through with scope of work, and maintain constant communication with the client to ensure that everything is being done to their satisfaction.
This is the longest and most invasive stage of your project and can take months to complete. The operations needed to get you to the finish line need to have a clear understanding of process so that we can provide and execute the appropriate solutions to handle any adjustments along the way. Remodeling is very difficult - introducing something new into an older space with continuity and cohesion is paramount. Problems and issues will occur, but our trained professionals are able to offer creative solutions to solve them.
PROJECT COMPLETION
After work is completed, cleanup of the job site is complete, and any additional repairs or adjustments that have been agreed upon with the client is complete, then final invoice is issued and warranty services begin.
